Beresford is a renovation to an existing cottage style family home. The client’s wish was to retain the heritage character of the home while opening up views to the Berowra bushland from it’s restrictive living area and include a new carport. A new raised gable roof with an integrated carport and cathedral ceilings was provided to satisfy the brief. Successful negotiations were undertaken to convince council of the design merit around the non-compliant carport.
